2-Up Camping with a Honda ST 1300
A brief illustrated description of loading the gear

With a pillion occupying the rear seat, everything has to be stowed on the bike.  We strap two stuff bags to the grab handles - with a tie strap under the top box mount to eliminate the possibility of the bags moving out and blocking the rear view mirror.  One contains the tent, one the sleeping mats.  Bin liners keep the contents waterproof.

The bike is well loaded, but remains within the Honda Maximum Load limits.  The suspension pre-load needs to be wound up a few notches to prevent the suspension from bottoming out over bumps.  Braking takes a tad longer, so does acceleration - but not by much and once you have got your eye in, which takes a couple of miles, the extra load is hardly noticeable.
